1. Find the slope of the line joining points `A(4,-8)` and `B(5,-2)`

Solution:
Points are `A(4,-8),B(5,-2)`

`:. x_1=4,y_1=-8,x_2=5,y_2=-2`

Slope of the line, `m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)`

`:. m=(-2+8)/(5-4)`

`:. m=(6)/(1)`

`:. m=6`

2. Find the slope of the line joining points `A(-6,1)` and `B(-3,2)`

Solution:
Points are `A(-6,1),B(-3,2)`

`:. x_1=-6,y_1=1,x_2=-3,y_2=2`

Slope of the line, `m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)`

`:. m=(2-1)/(-3+6)`

`:. m=(1)/(3)`

Solution:
Points are `A(3,-2),B(-1,4)`

`:. x_1=3,y_1=-2,x_2=-1,y_2=4`

Slope of the line, `m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)`

`:. m=(4+2)/(-1-3)`

`:. m=(6)/(-4)`

`:. m=-3/2`

4. Find the slope of the line joining points `A(1,2)` and `B(3,4)`

Solution:
