1. Find the equation of a line having slope `1/2` and Y-intercept `-3`

Solution:
Equation of a line with slope `m` and intercept `c` on Y-axis is `y=mx+c`


Here Slope `m=1/2` and y-intercept `c=-3`

`y=1/2x-3`

`:. 2y=x-6`

`:. x-2y-6=0`

Hence, The equation of line is `x-2y-6=0`



2. Find the equation of a line having slope `-1/2` and Y-intercept `3`

Solution:
Equation of a line with slope `m` and intercept `c` on Y-axis is `y=mx+c`


Here Slope `m=-1/2` and y-intercept `c=3`

`y=-1/2x+3`

`:. 2y=-x+6`

`:. x+2y-6=0`

Hence, The equation of line is `x+2y-6=0`



3. Find the equation of a line having slope `2` and Y-intercept `-3`

Solution:
Equation of a line with slope `m` and intercept `c` on Y-axis is `y=mx+c`


Here Slope `m=2` and y-intercept `c=-3`

`y=2x-3`

`:. y=2x-3`

`:. 2x-y-3=0`

Hence, The equation of line is `2x-y-3=0`



4. Find the equation of a line having slope `2` and Y-intercept `3/2`

Solution:
Equation of a line with slope `m` and intercept `c` on Y-axis is `y=mx+c`


Here Slope `m=2` and y-intercept `c=3/2`

`y=2x+1.5`

`:. y=2x+1.5`

`:. 2x-y+1.5=0`

Hence, The equation of line is `2x-y+1.5=0`
