Solve linear equations 7Y+2X-11=0 and 3X-Y-5=0 using Cross Multiplication Method

`2X+7Y-11 = 0 ->(1)`

`3X-Y-5 = 0 ->(2)`

Here,
`a_1=2, b_1=7, c_1=-11`

`a_2=3, b_2=-1, c_2=-5`

`X = (b_1*c_2-b_2*c_1)/(a_1*b_2-a_2*b_1)`

`= ((7)(-5)-(-1)(-11))/((2)(-1)-(3)(7))`

`= ((-35)-(11))/((-2)-(21))`

`= (-46)/(-23)`

`= 2`

`Y = (c_1*a_2-c_2*a_1)/(a_1*b_2-a_2*b_1)`

`= ((-11)(3)-(-5)(2))/((2)(-1)-(3)(7))`

`= ((-33)-(-10))/((-2)-(21))`

`= (-23)/(-23)`

`= 1`

`:. X = 2" and "Y = 1`
