Solve linear equations 7Y+2X-11=0 and 3X-Y-5=0 using Elimination Method

`2X+7Y = 11 ->(1)`

`3X-Y = 5 ->(2)`

Eqn.`(1) xx 1 => 2X+7Y = 11`

Eqn.`(2) xx 7 => 21X-7Y = 35`

Adding ` => 23X = 46`

`=> X = 46 / 23`

`=> X = 2`

Putting `X = 2` in Eqn. `(2)`, we have

`3(2)-Y = 5`

`=> -Y = 5-6`

`=> -Y = -1`

`=> Y = 1`

`:. X = 2" and "Y = 1`
