18. Multiplication by `1/2,1/3` type series

1. Find next 3 numbers in the sequence `480,240,160,120,96`

`480xx(1/2)=240`

`240xx(2/3)=160`

`160xx(3/4)=120`

`120xx(4/5)=96`

So required number are
`96xx(5/6)=80`

`80xx(6/7)=68.5714`

`68.5714xx(7/8)=60`

Answer : `80,68.5714,60`

`:.` The next 3 number for given series `480,240,160,120,96` are `80,68.5714,60`

Solution-1

2. Find next 3 numbers in the sequence `375,75,30,18`

`375xx(1/5)=75`

`75xx(2/5)=30`

`30xx(3/5)=18`

So required number are
`18xx(4/5)=14.4`

`14.4xx(5/5)=14.4`

`14.4xx(6/5)=17.28`

Answer : `14.4,14.4,17.28`

`:.` The next 3 number for given series `375,75,30,18` are `14.4,14.4,17.28`
